Byerley Park Swim to Success!

On Friday 10^th February 2023, a team of 14 keen swimmers from Byerley Park Primary School took part in the Primary Swimming Gala. This was held at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre. The children competed in a gruelling competition against seven locals schools. A majority of the Byerley Park children had never swum competitively before and were extremely nervous before their races. However, the determination and support from the whole team shone through as they were awarded 1^st place in the competition. An excellent result!

Our Byerley Park Swimming team are looking forward to taking part in the County Durham Finals, at Freemans Quay on the 3^rd March.
